What can I expect from my academic advising appointment during Cardinal Day or Rolling Advising?
- Your advisor will discuss with you your plans for an academic major.
- Your advisor will talk about the College’s various academic requirements, depending on your academic interests
- Based on your academic interests and plans, your advisor will recommend a schedule and register you for classes for the fall term
How can I get credit for my AP and IB courses?
AP and IB scores must be directly sent from the testing organization to William Jewell. Please refer to the credit breakdown listed in the link below.

Where do I send my transcript?
Transcripts are sent to the Office of Admissions until August 22nd. After August 22nd, they are sent to the Registrar’s Office.
How do I know that my transfer courses have been received and recorded by William Jewell College?
Your MyJewell account will be updated once your transcript has been processed. In your transcript, credits will be coded as TR.
Who should I contact to make changes to my major or course schedule?
Once you have registered and would like to make changes your schedule or major please contact Janelle Dozar, Coordinator of Advising and Tutoring Services.

When is my academic advisor assigned?
Academic advisors are assigned the first week of August. You will be notified of your advisor’s name during orientation. This information can also be viewed through your MyJewell account.
When do I get email and MyJewell access?
Once you have registered your email and access to MyJewell will be set up within 5 days. You will receive an email at your personal email account informing you of your username and password and instructions on how to access each.
