Jewell offers summer courses designed to ‘jump start’ college requirements

William Jewell College is offering classes in written communication and oral communication as part of its summer school schedule June 2 through July 25.
“These courses satisfy college credit requirements for freshman composition and speech, allowing high school students and recent graduates to get an early start on their general education requirements,” said Dr. Steve Schwegler, director of academic services and associate dean for continuing education at William Jewell. “Experienced professors provide instruction and support in a small classroom setting during this convenient two-month semester.”
