Jewell's Concert Choir performance is rescheduled Contact: Rob Eisele, 816-415-7574 February 13, 2007
The William Jewell College Concert Choir will perform their winter concert at 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in John Gano Memorial Chapel on the campus in Liberty, Mo. The concert is free and open to the public; tickets or reservations are not required.
The choir’s winter concert was postponed due to inclement weather in January. The program includes music in English, Russian, Japanese and Latin covering four centuries. Included in the concert are African-American spirituals, hymns and a new piece by Dr. Ian Coleman, professor of music and chair.
The Concert Choir recently returned from a winter tour that included performances in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
