The City of Liberty, William Jewell College, Historic Downtown Liberty Inc. and the Liberty Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Liberty4thFest,” the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration on the William Jewell College campus on Monday, July 4.

The celebration begins with a parade on the Square at 4:30 p.m. A children’s play area will be set up in the parking lot south of Greene Stadium beginning at 6 p.m. The Saucy Jack Band will be performing inside Greene Stadium beginning at 6 p.m., with Liberty’s Summer Band taking the stage at 9 p.m. A fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:45 p.m. Please note that the Fourth of July observance is a family-friendly celebration; no alcohol will be allowed on the premises.
