The Stocksdale Gallery of William Jewell College continues its exhibition season by featuring a series of assemblage wall pieces and an installation by Roeland Park, Kan., artist Donna Bachmann. The exhibit will run from March 4 through April 6, with an opening reception held in the gallery on Sunday, March 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The gallery is located on the second floor of Brown Hall on the campus of William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
The exhibit, titled The Accolade Suite: I-IX and The Labyrinth of the History of Art, includes a series of wall assemblage pieces as well as a floor installation. The exhibit and reception are open to the public and free of charge. Bachmann is a professor of art at Park University where she has led the Fine Art Program since 1986. She is the founder and director of Park’s Campanella Gallery. She received a B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute; an M.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and an M.F.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
