Last Meeting: December 4, 2007

Committee one presented the results of the zoomerang survey that was taken by Jewell students a little under a month ago. The results are going to be very helpful for Senate as we move forward working to solve issues that Jewell students have. Some particular issues that were brought up included: food in the cafeteria, security cameras, a lack of parking, entertainment in the union, among other issues. If you were not able to take the survey and have an issue that you would like to see Senate tackle, e-mail us at senate AT william.jewell DOT edu. 

Senate Security Grievances will be held for the last time this semester on December 6 from 3pm-5pm. It will be located in Student Affairs. If you have received a ticket that you think is unfair, you can bring this ticket to security grievances to plead your case. A panel of student senators and William Jewell staff will hear your arguments.

Junior Senator Andy Kirk will be leaving Senate this Spring. He is traveling overseas to Harlaxton University in England. This means that a position is open for any interested Junior student. Contact Tyler Folan at folant AT william.jewell DOT edu for more details and to sign up.
