William Jewell College will be the site of a “Community Gathering” with Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Joe Biden at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9 in the Mabee Center for Physical Education on the college campus in Liberty, Mo.

“We are pleased to be a part of the democratic process and to provide a forum where the important issues facing voters can be openly discussed,” said Dr. David Sallee, president of William Jewell College.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. The Mabee Center doors open at 12:30 p.m. for the 2:30 p.m. event. Tickets will be distributed from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday, October 8 at the following locations:
