Visit Jewell

Spring Visit Times

During a Spring individual visit you will be able to see firsthand what life is like at Jewell. During the visit, you will have an opportunity to tour campus with a current Jewell student and meet with an admission counselor to talk about the application process, academic opportunities, student life organizations, and financial aid. You will also have an opportunity to tour our beautiful campus, located just 15 miles from downtown Kansas City in Liberty, MO. Some of the buildings you will visit include the recently built Pryor Learning Commons, Gano Chapel, Idea Exchange, Yates-Gill Student Union, and historic Jewell Hall.

By request, you can also observe a class and/or meet with a faculty member. Seniors typically find the most value in meeting with faculty and/or observing class. (Please provide a 4-day notice to add these options to your campus visit).

Choose which day and time works best for you:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. (classes available during the morning and afternoon)
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 9:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. (classes available during the morning)
  • Saturdays at 9:45 a.m. on January 24, January 31, February 7, February 14, February 28, April 18 and May 2

We look forward to seeing you on “The Hill” soon!

Jewell welcomes high school organizations (grades 9-12) of all sizes to visit campus, Monday through Friday. Each visit includes a tour of campus and a college planning session with one of our experienced admission counselors. You may also choose to have lunch on campus at your organization’s expense. Have a special request or specific program that you would like to incorporate into your organization's visit? Let us know and we will do our best to arrange a program-specific visit event for you and your organization.
