Tucker Leadership Lab

Tucker Leadership Lab is one of the premiere team building and leadership development challenge courses in the Midwest with over 100,000 participants. We work with businesses, schools, churches and sports teams to create better leaders and foster an environment of team growth and personal development.

Customized experiences for ground or climbing

Tucker Leadership Lab, founded in 2000, offers development for any group, any size, at any location. We offer ground, low and high team challenges designed to build trust, communication and confidence. This is a unique experience in our region, with facilitators who have a combined 100-plus years of challenge course and team-building experience. Some groups come back every year, taking away new skills and deepened relationships each time.

Our course is located on the William Jewell College campus in Liberty, Mo., and we have an extensive portable experience called the Quest Course that we can bring to you. View descriptions of our courses below.

Who can participate?

Our facilitators are trained to adapt experiential activities according to your group’s needs and abilities, allowing everyone to participate at the level they choose. Our courses are designed for ages 5th grade through adult. Please contact us if you have any concerns or special needs in your group.

  • Outlook Tower
    Our 45-foot climbing structure

    Spend a full day building individual and team leadership skills on our 45-foot climbing structure known as the Outlook Tower. Our trained Facilitators will customize the experience to fit your group’s objectives. The Outlook Tower is tailor-fit to:

  • Odyssey Course
    High challenge course

    The Odyssey Course provides teams the opportunity to achieve high goals TOGETHER! This is a team-oriented high challenge course. Small groups of teammates climb the cargo nets together and engage in team-building challenges off the ground. Our trained facilitators will customize the experience to fit your group’s objectives. The Odyssey Course is a wonderful tool to:

    • build community and mutual support
    • leadership skills
    • staying calm in the middle of the moment
    • communication

    The Odysssey is appropriate for 7th grade through adult. You should allow four to five hours for this experience.

  • Off-Site Teambuilding
    We'll come to you

    Off-Site Teambuilding is a great way to bring the Tucker experience to you. Our expert facilitators will pack up our gear and come to your office, school or local community area to provide your customized experience. This option is ideal if you don’t have time or funds for transportation, but still want to develop your group. It also works well if you are looking for teambuilding during those cold winter months. This experience will help your group build:

  • Experiential Classroom
    For teachers and business professionals

    The Experiential Classroom is a new program for teachers and business professionals. Come and learn activities as well as tips and tricks for bringing them to your workplace. Keep the magic of experiential team development going all year long. This program is ideal for professionals looking to learn some introductory team development skills for their school or office. We can come to your location or you can join us at the lab.

    Cost is $60 per participant for a 3-5 hour program.
