William Jewell named among Forbes’ Top Colleges

Forbes magazine has named William Jewell College to its annual list of the nation’s best colleges, with just 15 percent of the 4,300 degree-granting postsecondary institutions in the United States being selected.

Jewell was ranked on the 2019 America’s Top Colleges list, while also placing inside the top 350 on the magazine’s private colleges list, the top 175 on the liberal arts universities list, and the top 125 of Midwest schools.

Forbes bases its rankings not only on academics and on-campus experience, but also the career success of alumni and the average debt load for graduates.

Jewell has recently been named to The Princeton Review’s Best 385 Colleges, the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education’s College Rankings and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance “Best Values in Colleges,” among other rankings.
