The Joy of the Holidays Concert
Cardinalis (Jewell's professional choir) joins Kansas City Chamber Orchestra for Vivaldi’s “Gloria” in this annual Baroque by Candlelight concert conducted by Bruce Sorrell, a 1983 Jewell alumnus.

Jewell Jazz Band Concert

End of semester concert featuring Jewell's finest Jazz musicians performing standards and improvisations.
Lighting of the Quad
Dec. 6
7 p.m., Gano Chapel and Quad, Jewell campus
A celebration of the season in Gano Chapel with a Wind Ensemble concert, sing-along carols and hanging of the green, followed by a lighting ceremony on the Quad. Light refreshments will be served in Yates-Gill College Union and Santa will be on hand for visits and photos.
Come early and stop by the Pillsbury Observatory (White Science Center 4th floor) from 5:30-7 p.m. to see the moon through our 14-inch telescope! Faculty will be on hand to answer all your astronomy questions.
Liberty Symphony Orchestra "Christmas Time Is Here" Concert

Under the direction of Dr. Langston Hemenway, skilled musicians from Jewell and the community will come together to perform holiday classics.

Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Broadway at 13th Street, Kansas City
Jewell’s Christmas gift to the city in words and music, including the Concert Choir, congregational hymns, poetry readings and a homily.
