Student Nurse Association

The Student Nursing Association provides opportunities, advocates for advancement, promotes community service and contributes to the educational and professional development of all Jewell nursing students.

What will we do?

This group hosts events such as a blood drive and a 5K walk/run during Homecoming to support a nursing scholarship. Several fundraisers enable SNA to provide funding for a few members to attend Nursing Advocacy Day in Jefferson City, Missouri Student Nurse Association conference, National Student Nurse Association Conference and other events. Group meetings often provide professional development opportunities with guest panels and discussions to cover topics in nursing specialties as well as applying and interviewing for nursing jobs. Members of Jewell's SNA chapter also are members of the National Student Nurse Association group.
