What is CIPHER
CIPHER—the Cyber Internship Program for High School Education and Readiness—gives high school students the opportunity to begin building cybersecurity skills before college.
Through William Jewell College, you’ll earn college credit, complete hands-on cyber training and gain internship experience alongside industry professionals. The program is designed to help you build skills you can use immediately while also getting a head start toward a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity.

CIPHER connects classroom learning with real-world experience through industry partners such as Cyber 429, a Kansas City-based cybersecurity firm whose experts have experience with organizations including the CIA, Tesla and the Department of Defense.
Through the partnership, students can work with real technology, tackle cybersecurity challenges and gain exposure to the professional side of the field.
