Biography
Dr. Aaron Keller is an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Division of Behavioral, Natural, and Health Sciences. He earned his B.S. in chemistry from Washburn University in Topeka, KS in 2006 and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 2012. After graduate school, Dr. Keller was a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He joined the faculty at William Jewell in 2015. At Jewell, he teaches general chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and the informed chemist. His research focuses on developing fluorescent nanoparticles as probes for sensitive chemical, viral, and cancer detection.
