Shane Price, Ph.D.

Dr. E. Shane Price earned a B.A. in chemistry and a B.A. in physics from William Jewell College and a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. Dr. Price has experience with research in both analytical and biophysical chemistry. His current research interests are in method development for the careful study of the lipid composition of cultured cells with analysis by GC-MS. He is also interested in investigating the use of HPLC-UV and GC-MS to produce profiles of minor compounds in various nutraceuticals. Dr. Price also maintains all of the department’s instrumentation.
