Biography
Dr. Tiffany Condren serves as Program Director of Nursing at William Jewell College, where she joined the nursing faculty in 2014 and became a full-time faculty member in 2019. She has led simulation-based education at Jewell as Simulation Coordinator since 2021. A nurse for more than 15 years, her clinical experience spans Labor and Delivery, NICU, mother-baby, medical-surgical, hospice, and legal nurse consulting. She is a registered nurse and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator.
Dr. Condren’s scholarly interests include clinical judgment development, clinical and nursing education, simulation-based education, and model-based pedagogy. Her research focuses on active learning and model-based pedagogies that promote clinical judgment development in prelicensure nursing students. Her work has been published in Nursing Education Perspectives and the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s Leader to Leader, and she presents her scholarship at regional and national conferences.
Dr. Condren collaborates with nursing education researchers and healthcare partners to advance classroom and clinical education and strengthen strategic academic-practice partnerships. She serves on the International Consortium of Nursing Education Strategic Initiative Task Group, as a peer reviewer for Clinical Simulation in Nursing, and on community and industry councils supporting healthcare and education. Across her teaching, scholarship, and service, she is committed to preparing nurses who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professional excellence, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
