FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is essential for any college student wishing to receive financial aid, and it opens on October 1. Complete the FASA and use Jewell’s code, 002524, so we can prepare your financial aid package upon your admission to Jewell.

Federal Pell Grant
An award based on demonstrated need shown on the FAFSA and funded by the U.S. Department of Education. For 2021-2022, the amount ranged from $672 to $6,495, depending on an EFC between 0 and 5,486.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
SEOG is awarded based on demonstrated need shown on the FAFSA and funded by the Federal Government in an amount ranging from $100 to $4,000 as determined by the College Financial Aid Office. Priority is given to Federal Pell Grant recipients with reduction possible if the recipient qualifies for other college grant/scholarship awards. The deadline for SEOG awards is September 15.
State College Grants and Scholarships
Available to graduating high school seniors residing in Missouri who have scored in the top 3% of all Missouri students taking the ACT/SAT (31 ACT in 2021-2022). Funded by the state of Missouri in an amount projected to be $3,000.
This college grant in Missouri provides a $500 non-renewable award to students who receive two scores of three or higher on Advanced Placement exams in the fields of math or science while attending a Missouri public high school. Students who qualify for this incentive program must also receive an Access Missouri Grant or A+ Scholarship program award.
Jewell Access Grants
Access grants are need-based funds provided to students who demonstrate financial need. Award levels vary based on information provided through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Access grants can be combined with all other forms of Jewell aid. Access grants are determined at the time of packaging, and only students who submit a FAFSA to Jewell will qualify. To submit a FAFSA to Jewell, be sure to include the College’s code, 002524.
