Nathan Walts is a transformational business leader, educator, and strategic advisor with extensive experience at the intersection of workforce development, education technology, data-analytics, artificial intelligence, and business growth. He has led organizations ranging from emerging startups to established enterprise businesses, with expertise spanning product strategy, M&A integration, revenue growth, digital transformation, and organizational leadership.
As the former Chief Executive Officer of WorkForge, Nathan successfully led the acquisition and integration of multiple education technology companies, scaled operations internationally, and drove significant market growth through focused industry strategies and product innovation. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership roles at Ascend Learning, where he guided product strategy, analytics, and business expansion initiatives across healthcare and education technology markets.
Beyond executive leadership, Nathan serves as a strategic advisor and mentor to startups, innovation programs, and entrepreneurial organizations, including KU Innovation Park, Techstars, and other emerging technology ventures. He is also an Adjunct Professor at William Jewell College, where he teaches business analytics and supports AI and cybersecurity-focused educational initiatives.
